Sam Bahadur Review: Vicky Kaushal brought the character of Sam Manekshaw alive on screen, know how this film is

Sam Bahadur Movie Review: Director Meghna Gulzar has once again placed her bet on Vicky Kaushal. After ‘Raazi’, she has now brought her new film ‘Sam Bahadur’ with Vicky Kaushal. Vicky Kaushal has been seen trying to do comedy in his last few released films, but those films did not do so well among the audience. After ‘Raazi’ and ‘Uri’, Vicky has once again been seen in the avatar of a soldier and the audience will be expecting him to work the same magic again. However, along with ‘Saif Bahadur’, Ranbir Kapoor starrer film ‘Animal’ is also going to be released at the box office on Friday. That means Sanju (Ranbir Kapoor) of the film ‘Sanju’ and his best friend Kamli (Vicky Kaushal) will be seen face to face this Friday. Let us tell whether Vicky can repeat his ‘Uri’ success with ‘Sam Bahadur’ or not.

what does the story say
First of all, if we talk about the story of the film, this film is a biopic of former Field Marshal of the Indian Army Sam Manekshaw, in which Vicky Kaushal has played the lead role. The story of this film starts from the youthful days of Sam Manekshaw, with parts from the Second World War to the formation of Bangladesh and Manekshaw’s journey to becoming a Field Marshal. In this story, many important characters have been shown, from the country’s first Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru to former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi (Fatima Sana Shaikh). Good ministers remained silent in front of Indira Gandhi, who was called the Iron Lady, but Manekshaw was such an officer who had clearly refused to fight the war in front of Indira Gandhi. This part of Sam Manekshaw’s personality has been shown well in the film.

The first half of the film shows the initial parts of Sam’s story, his fight in the Second World War and to some extent his personal life. In the second half, Indira Gandhi enters the story and then new changes in the story and further parts of her life are shown. The story of the film is shown on screen over a very long period of time. In this situation, all the actors have been shown from their youth till their old age.

Vicky Kaushal plays the role of Sam Manekshaw in the film ‘Sam Bahadur’.

Vicky Kaushal’s style will win hearts
The first half of the film seems a bit flat, but the second half is quite engaging. But from his first scene till his last scene, Vicky Kaushal has been so perfect in his portrayal of Sam on screen that you will not be able to take your eyes off him. Be it Vicky Kaushal’s moves or his style, you will feel the respect he has for the army and its soldiers in every scene. You must have heard a lot of stories and tales of Sam Manekshaw, but if you have heard less about him, then through this film Vicky Kaushal will force you to both respect and love this character.

In terms of acting, this film will give you a great experience, but in terms of story, there is nothing new in it. This story is also not much different from the way the stories of army and war have been told before. But the best thing about ‘Sam Bahadur’ is that this film tries to be as close to the life of the army and its methods as can be done in a film. From rifle drill to the war environment, everything is very close to the truth. Both the music and BGM (background music) of the film are in perfect sync with the story.

‘Sam Bahadur’ is an ordinary film, which Vicky Kaushal has made an extraordinary film by running it on his shoulders. This film must be seen on the big screen.
